Board

As well as daily management of SNPS, the Board has a number of specific tasks, such as:

  • keeping the statutes and regulations up-to-date
  • determining the scope of the SNPS and of the non-executive and executive board members
  • determining the contracting out and communications policy
  • determining the financial statements and Actuarial and Business Memorandum (ABTN)
  • periodic consultation with DNB and AFM.

Authorities
The board’s authorities regarding implementing tasks is based on the law (The Dutch Civil Code and the Pensions Act) and on the SNPS statutes and regulations. All authorities of the Board that are not entrusted to the Executive Board members or the independent Chairman are for the Board as a whole.

Responsibilities
The Board ensures compliance with all relevant statutory provisions, regulations and agreements. The Board must also ensure compliance with the provision of the statutes and regulations and ensure that the policy is implemented as determined in the ABTN.
