Each year, the SSPF Board tries to increase your pension. In February, the board granted an 8% indexation. An additional increase has now been granted.

We will be increasing your pension on 1 November 2023
The increase is 4.1% on the original pension amount of February. You will receive your higher pension as from 1 November 2023.

This increase is in addition to the increase of 1 February 2023
Your pension was increased by 8.0% on 1 February 2023. For the period between November 2021 and November 2022, prices had risen even more: by 12.1%. As economic conditions were uncertain at the time, pensions were increased by 8.0% at that time. Later in the year, the board would see if the remainder could also be granted. That is the case now. Therefore, your pension will be increased again as from 1 November 2023. This means that the full 12.1% has now been granted.

The board of SSPF tries to increase the value of your pension in line with the increasing costs of living every year
The board aims to maintain the value of your pension. Indexation is only possible if permitted by the financial situation of the pension fund, which is why an increase is not guaranteed. The SSPF board decides whether or not to increase your pension and, if so, by how much on an annual basis.
