Receive 10% of your pension as a one-time payment
In 2023, you will be able to opt to have up to 10% of your pension paid out in one lump-sum when you retire. This option has been postponed by the legislature until 1 July 2023. It was previously set for 1 January 2023. If you opt for a one-time payment, up to 10% of the value of the retirement pension you have accrued will be paid into your account. However, there are conditions associated with this option and it does affect your pension benefits.
