Voeks

Voeks is the association of Shell retirees. Voeks is open to future and current Shell retirees. In the Netherlands, the association has 10 regions that organize their own activities.

Advocate for your pension interests

  • Voeks represents the interests of pensioners and former employees who are participants in a Shell pension fund in the Netherlands.
  • Voeks appoints members to serve on the Accountability Body (AB) and Supervisory Board (through the AB) of the Shell SSPF pension fund as well as SNPS in the future.
  • Voeks is the spokesperson for the Shell pension fund in the Netherlands and Shell Pensioenbureau Nederland.
  • Voeks is a member of the Association of Pensioner Organisations (Koepel Gepensioneerden), which gives it influence in national politics and a network of 80 pension organisations.
  • Voeks, as a representative of pensioners and former employees, exercises its statutory right to be heard before Shell Nederland and the Central Works Council (COR) for the Future Pensions Act (Wtp).

Consideration for former colleagues in need of support
Voeks is also a strong advocate for the welfare of elderly Shell pensioners. One important focus area here is looking after former colleagues. The Voeks representatives, each with their own area, pay visits to elderly members aged over 80 every year. They also visit ill members who may appreciate the company.

As a Voeks member, you are always well informed of any important updates on pension issues and association activities through the Voeksnieuws magazine published 10 times a year, via the website www.voeks.nl, and thanks to news flashes and newsletters with all the latest.

Activities
You can participate in activities such as excursions, dinner clubs, museum visits, bridge games, golf tournaments, interesting lectures on current events and Shell topics as well as larger national events where you can catch up with former colleagues and partners.
