Transition starting on 1 January 2026
SNPS has decided to proceed with the transition to the new pension system
This means that SNPS will switch to the new scheme as of 1 January 2026, in accordance with legal requirements and our previously communicated schedule. You will also be personally informed about this via my‑Shell pension.
You will receive an overview of your expected pension under the new scheme.
The calculation you will receive shortly is provisional and based on your pension balance as of 30 September 2025. At my‑Shell Pension, you can view the current status of your pension pot. The amount shown there is real-time and therefore cannot be compared with the calculation in the overview.

Did you join Shell before 1 July 2013?
The overview you will receive soon only concerns your pension in the Shell Net Pension Scheme. You also participate in the SSPF pension scheme. This scheme will change effective 1 January 2027. You will receive more information about the future changes in 2026.

Did you join Shell on or after 1 July 2013, and are you participating in the net pension scheme?
In that case, you will receive 2 overviews: an overview of your expected gross pension under the SNPS pension scheme and your expected net pension in the Shell Net Pension Scheme.
In April 2026, you will receive a final overview of your expected pension under the new scheme.
You will be able to view this final overview at my‑Shell Pension as of then.
