Your pension payment dates in 2026
If you receive a pension from SSPF, read what is changing. The dates on which we will pay your pension from SSPF and SNPS are known.
First payment date of 2026
On 2 January 2026, we will transfer the first SSPF payment of 2026 to you. You will receive your SNPS payment on 23 January 2026. If you live outside Europe, it may sometimes take a little longer for the money to reach your account.
The January payment has been calculated using the 2025 tax rates. We will correct this in February 2026.
Pay dates
Did you start employment before 1 July 2013? Then you receive your pension from SSPF. Your pension benefit is paid monthly. Starting from September 2026, you will receive your SSPF benefit around the 25th of the month instead of at the beginning. In case you have a foreign account number, this may take a bit longer.

Did you start employment on or after 1 July 2013? Or did you participate in the net pension scheme (for your salary was higher than the statutory fiscal maximum)? Then you receive your pension from SNPS. Your pension is paid afterwards. We transfer it to your bank account around the 25th of the month.
In case you have a foreign account number, this may take a bit longer.

Do you receive your pension from SSPF? The payment date will change in 2026
From September 2026 onwards, you will receive your SSPF payment around the 25th of the month.
The date on which you receive your pension will change. This is necessary because SSPF is switching to a new administration system. This will make payments less prone to errors and more efficient to execute. SSPF will therefore be in line with the standard and virtually all other pension funds in the Netherlands.
Please take this into account in your financial planning.
Due to the new payment date, there will be a one-off three-week gap between your August and September payments. This means you won't miss out on benefits. The September benefit will be shifted from the beginning of September to the end of the month. Please contact us if you have any questions about this. We are here to help.
