Shell pension funds extend their cooperation with Achmea

Both pension funds of Shell, SSPF and SNPS, have recently extended their pension management agreements with Achmea Pensioenservices (APS) by two years.

This gives APS as well as the pension funds the preparation time they need for the transition to a new administrative system. Also, within the scope of the strategic cooperation, the parties have expressed their intention to investigate the possibility of signing a new, long-term contract in 2022, which aims to take effect from 1 January 2025.

By doing this, all parties underline the essence of solid cooperation and attention to each other's position within the framework of strategic partnership. Achmea Pensioenservices has the ambition to become the best digital pension provider and is undergoing a transformation of its services and IT platform. The Shell pension funds SSPF and SNPS play an essential role as strategic partners in shaping the new services and suggesting points of improvement.

Signing a new agreement is generally an exciting and festive occasion. Unfortunately, the imposed coronavirus restrictions prevented us from celebrating together.
